Got Questions?

Here you’ll find the answers to common questions people have when signing up.

What's the process of getting a recommendation?

Prior to setting up an appointment with a healthcare provider, you’ll need to register on the Department of Health’s Medical Cannabis Program. After that, fill out our form here, click next, and follow the easy step-by-step process on our website to see a medical marijuana provider and get certified.

How is the consultation done? Do I video call with the doctor?

For the state of Hawaii, an in-person visit is required.

What happens after I'm approved?

Once approved for a med card, the healthcare provider will submit your application to the Department of Health. You will receive an email notification from the state on how to retrieve your 329 card.

Are there other fees I need to pay for?

Our prices include the State Paperwork Fee that other doctors charge for separately. The state of Hawaii charges patients a $38.50 tax/fee for the certification, and that is separate from our included services. It must be paid by patients.

How long is my med card valid for?

The med card in Hawaii is valid for one year. You would need to renew it at least 60 days before the expiration date.

How do I qualify for a Hawaii medical marijuana card?

  • You must have a state-issued ID
  • You must be at least 18 years of age
