North Dakota residents must provide a valid North Dakota driver’s license or state-issued non-driver photo ID. Applicants must also upload a clear photo of themselves that meets the state’s photo requirements.

Yes. Eligible nonresidents who are at least 19 years old can apply for a temporary 60-day North Dakota medical marijuana card. You must have a valid medical marijuana card and state-issued ID from the same state or territory of residence. Both documents must remain valid throughout the 60-day period. The state application fee is $40 and is nonrefundable. 

An approved card allows eligible nonresidents to purchase medical marijuana from North Dakota’s registered dispensaries, subject to state law and program rules.

North Dakota applicants may need to provide medical records or other documentation showing their qualifying medical condition. Records may include documentation of a diagnosis, treatment history, test results, or other relevant medical information. The state may request additional records to verify the qualifying condition.
