At Quick Med Cards, we connect patients with chronic or severe medical conditions to licensed medical marijuana doctors. Some conditions that are often treated with medical marijuana include:

PTSD

People who have witnessed or experienced a distressing event may be a victim of a psychiatric disorder called Post-traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD. Several reports suggest that alternative treatments with medical cannabis have shown positive signs in limiting this condition.

Chronic Pain

It is a persistent pain that can last from a few weeks to several years and is caused by dysfunctional or inflammation of nerves. Chronic pain is the number one concern amongst medical marijuana patients.

Multiple Sclerosis

The damage of the protective layer of nerves results in a disjoint between the brain and body. This condition is referred to as Multiple Sclerosis.

ADHD

ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. As the name suggests this condition includes hyperactivity, impulsiveness, and attention difficulty.

Alzheimer’s

A memory disorder that escalates to complete memory loss and confusion. This happens mainly because of the degradation of brain cell connections. It has no cure. However, medication or alternative treatments with medical marijuana can delay the process.

IBD

Inflammatory Bowel Disease or IBD occurs due to the inflammation of the digestive tract. Two of the most common types include Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative colitis.
