You qualify for a Michigan medical marijuana card if you are a resident suffering from a qualifying condition.

The qualifying conditions for a medical marijuana card in Michigan include:

• Agitation of Alzheimer’s disease
• Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
• Arthritis
• Autism
• Cancer
• Cerebral palsy
• Chronic pain
• Colitis
• Crohn’s disease
• Glaucoma
• HIV positive
• Hepatitis C
• Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
• Nail-patella syndrome
• Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
• Parkinson’s disease
• Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Spinal cord injury
• Tourette’s disease
• Ulcerative colitis
• A chronic illness or condition whose symptoms or treatment side effects manifest as
  • Cachexia or wasting syndrome
  • Seizures, including those typical of epilepsy
  • Severe nausea
  • Severe and chronic pain
  • Severe and persistent muscle spasms, including those caused by multiple sclerosis

Follow the steps below to get certified for medical marijuana with Quick Med Cards:

1. Complete our sign-up form and create your account.
2. Book your appointment with one of our Michigan medical marijuana doctors.
3. Attend your virtual consultation over a video call.
4. Get your certification after the doctor’s approval.

No. The law doesn’t obligate marijuana doctors in Michigan to approve patients for medical marijuana. Still, our MMJ doctors will most likely certify you if your health could benefit from medical cannabis.

Yes. Once you book your appointment, we’ll send you a secure link for your video call when the consultation time approaches. You’ll meet with your physician to discuss how medical cannabis could benefit your health–this generally takes 10-15 minutes. After your doctor approves, you’ll receive your certification via email. It’ll also be available from your Quick Med Cards dashboard.

Getting your certification is just step one of getting your Michigan medical marijuana card. Next, you must complete your medical card application on Michigan’s Cannabis Regulatory Agency website.

The Michigan Medical Marijuana Program will issue your medical card within 20 business days after receiving your application.

Your Michigan medical marijuana card will be valid for two (2) years.

If you’re going to request a replacement via mail, complete and submit the Request Replacement Card(s) Form.

With Quick Med Cards, your consultation and certification will cost $45 to $149, the lowest in the state. Additionally, you’ll need to pay $40 to Michigan’s Medical Marijuana Program (MMMP) for your medical card.
