You qualify for a medical marijuana card in Georgia if you meet these two requirements:

  • Georgia residency
  • A signed certification for one of the qualifying conditions

What are the qualifying conditions for a medical marijuana card in Georgia?

What's the process of getting an MMJ certification in Georgia?

Follow the steps below to get certified for low THC oil with Quick Med Cards:

    1. Complete our sign-up form and create your account.
    2. Book your appointment with one of our Georgia medical marijuana doctors.
    3. Attend your virtual consultation over a video call.
    4. Get your certification after the doctor’s approval.

I have several qualifying conditions. Does that guarantee that I'll get my Georgia med card?

No. The law doesn’t obligate cannabis doctors in Georgia to approve patients for medical marijuana. Even so, our physicians will most likely certify you if your health could benefit from cannabis treatment.

How is the consultation done? Can I have a video call with the doctor?

Yes. Once you book your appointment, we’ll send you a secure link for your video call when the consultation time approaches. You’ll meet with your physician to discuss how medical cannabis could benefit your health–this generally takes 10-15 minutes. After your doctor approves, you’ll receive your certification via email. It’ll also be available on your Quick Med Cards dashboard.

    What happens after I'm approved?

Your Georgia cannabis doctor will submit your details to the low THC registry. Afterward, wait for the notification to pick up your medical card.

When will I get my med card in the mail?

The Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) doesn’t mail medical cards to patient addresses.

Instead, they’ll mail the physical card to a local DPH office near you within 10 days after you’re certified. You’ll also receive an email with your digital medical card.

How long is my med card valid for?

Your Georgia medical marijuana card will be valid for five (5) years.

I lost/destroyed my med card. How do I ask for a new one?

You should contact the DPH by email (THCRegistry@dph.ga.gov) or call 770-909-2765 to replace your card.

Are there other fees I need to pay for?

With Quick Med Cards, your consultation and certification will cost $45 to $149, the lowest in the state. Additionally, your medical card will cost $30, payable to the state’s medical marijuana program.
