Delaware Recreational Weed

And had the bill become law, Delaware would have become the 19th state to legalize recreational marijuana use. 

However, Gov. John Carney vetoed the bill citing concern for kids. So, it’s still possible that Delaware will not see recreational weed in 2022. Either way, it’s clear that the state is moving in that direction, and it seems likely that eventually, Delaware will join the ranks of states with legal recreational cannabis.

Mississippi Medical Marijuana

Is weed legal in Mississippi in 2022? Medical marijuana is legal in Mississippi, and a medical marijuana card is necessary to buy from a dispensary in the state. But it is still unavailable for purchase as the state establishes regulations. 

The road to medical legalization in the Magnolia state has not been easy. Eventually, Mississippi became the 37th state to legalize medical marijuana on February 2, 2022, when the Senate passed Senate Bill 2095 to restore the voters’ resolve for a Mississippi Medical Marijuana Program after the Supreme Court quashed their efforts. And Governor Tate Reeves signed the Mississippi weed laws permitting medicinal cannabis for certain qualifying conditions.

Oklahoma Recreational Weed

Oklahoma has some of the most relaxed laws when it comes to medical cannabis. And many patients easily meet the qualifications for medical marijuana in Oklahoma. Still, there is a lot of debate surrounding the issue of weed legalization in Wyoming. Some people support legalizing weed, while others believe that the state’s current laws are adequate. For now, only time will tell what the future holds for Wyoming and its relationship with weed.
